Using task tags in Bundled Notes
A task tag turns an entry into something completable, and optional tag actions add buttons to the entry for archiving or tag swapping.
Task tags for checkboxes
linkEnabling the "Task tag" feature for a tag turns any entry with that tag into a checkbox task. This works well for errands, personal to-dos, action items, and bundles where only some entries should be completable.
To set this up, simply long press a tag in the tag list and enable Task tagcheck_box. Save it, then apply that tag to any entries - you will see a checkbox appear. Make sure to set the tag as default if you want all new entries to be tasks.
Planned update
check_circleThe checkbox task workflow is currently exclusively tag-driven. A future update will add a bundle-level setting to treat all entries in a bundle as tasks by default.
Archive action
linkThe "Archive" tag feature adds an Archivearchive button to any entry with that tag. Clicking it archives the entry immediately. This is a good fit for bundles where completed work should be hidden, but not deleted.
To set this up, long press a tag, click Tag actionsbolt, and enable Archivearchive. Save it, then apply that tag to any entries you want to be easily archivable.
Swap tags action
linkThe swap tag actions add a quick way to quickly swap tags. For example, if you have a status tag called "Planning", you could set up a swap action to swap it for "In progress" when clicked.
To set this up, long press a tag, click Tag actionsbolt, and enable Swap tagsswap_horiz. Choose the tags you want to swap to (replacing the current tag), then save it. Any entries with that tag will now have a tag-swap button.
This is especially useful for project or collection bundles, and it can work nicely alongside Kanban mode to quickly move entries across columns.
